One my newest tees. I call it the Akepele Warhola tee. It’s my most colorful piece yet.

This is my twist on the Andy Warhol -Marylin Monroe diptych painting. I’ve always loved that painting and have seen many different renditions of it, most famously the Notorious B.I.G. one with the crown.

I’m super proud of this store!

Walking up each morning to open the store and seeing my logos on these doors and windows is a feeling I can’t really explain. It’s very comfortable and gratifying to say the least.

There is so much that goes on behind the scenes to put together a pop-up, especially one of this scale and duration. I’ve been closing up each night and heading to the studio to make more product to keep the store stocked. I literally have been at full speed for weeks now, lol. This morning I had to stop for a moment to take it all in and appreciate where I’m at before I blink and it’s December 31st when the pop-up is over.

Thank you to my pop-up team/family for helping make this happen. Also to @downtown_cleansafe for selecting Akepele as a participant in the 2023 PDX Pop-Up Shops.
